I have written a Haiku this time, inspired by the word and form prompt given by Poetry 101 course of Blogging University. The prompt for today is “Water” in any of its form. I love the ocean and its beauty, hence writing a sequence of three Haiku on ocean:)
A traditional Japanese form now popular around the world, Haiku come with a preset structure: three lines containing five, seven, and five syllables, respectively.
The thunderous waves,
It’s dimensions infinite,
Clandestine Ocean!
How magnificent,
Formidable, perplexing
Yet how reticent!
Enigmatic forms,
Augmenting the dusk and dawn,
Divine creation!
Loved it! A good beginning…

Beautiful! Wish it was longer, though. 🙂 It’s that good. I’ve never understood haiku until now. Thanks for this new learning. 🙂
