My poem today follows the prompt given by Elsie of Ramblingsofawriter for her Weekly Poetry Challenge#80. The prompt words are “nature” and “peace”. She has also suggested a few other poetry forms. I have tried a new form today, called Triolet Poetry. Triolet  Poetry is a poem of fixed rhythmical form, with repeated lines. It is made up of eight lines with a set rhyming scheme as shown below:

Here’s my take:

How wondrous are the ways of nature

Its silent beauty an element of admiration

Beholding in awe even its Creator

How wondrous are the ways of nature

Its serenity mesmerizes every spectator

Instilling peace and illumination

How wondrous are the ways of nature

Its silent beauty an element of admiration
