I’m following the prompt of ArtoonsInn Poetry Parlour today that requires us to write a poem on the theme “A Colourful Ride.”

Here’s my take for today:

Life- A Colourful Ride

The cruise of life, a journey unknown

The ebbs and flows that make it a delight

–

Sometimes still, sometimes turbulent,

But friends ensure to make you aglow

–

The chaos, the mayhem, the humdrum of life

All comes to rest with a cup of ‘chai’

–

The infinite tasks, the relations petrified

No matter how weary, it’s the love that binds

–

With each passing breath, savoring potion of life,

We may exude or resent, but we cherish that ride

–

A colorful ride, that’s what is life,

With its varied hues, the vivacity thrives

–
